This letter is to give our highest unconditional recommendation for the
decorating talent of Laura Jones of the Primarily Pine Home Store. Laura's
ability to see the big picture and to anticipate our needs made the renovation
of our new condo at Inlet Point, Pawleys Island S.C. surprisingly easy.
This could have been a very frustrating undertaking since we live 750 miles away
in Ohio.
Laura worked closely with Chris
Smith, also of Primarily Pine, and together they completed the project by our
deadline of March 31, 2013. Laura's keen eye for color, scale and theme,
along with Chris's attention to detail and his relationship with local quality
craftsman make them a great team.
They gave us everything we wanted and more. We would not hesitate to have Laura
and Chris renovate any future projects.

To whom it may concern,
I’m happy to recommend the people at Primarily Pine. My wife and I found a 17th
century table in an antique shop in San Francisco that was perfect for us, but
much too expensive. We asked Chris Smith of Primarily Pine if they could make a
reasonable facsimile of it — not a fake antique, but a new table that had
similar look and dimensions. We sent photos (taken on my i-phone!) and discussed
the project, including the wood (walnut), dimensions (100” x 38” plus two
extensions of 20”), leg shape, skirt size, finish etc. Out of this they designed
and built a table that we think is stunning, and so do our friends and guests.
It is indeed a modern table — the joinery of the legs to the top, for instance,
is accomplished with bolts and braces -- (by the way, very easy to assemble) --
but the look is exactly as we wished. I would add that Primarily Pine did the
work in a timely fashion, were responsive to my calls, and the table was
delivered in perfect condition.
