The Kennedy Presidential Rocker has been found in the homes of famous and infamous people here and abroad. President Kennedy was besieged by back problems and his personal physician Dr. Janet Travell suggested this rocking chair as a helpful aid for his back. Rocking increases circulation and is relaxing to the back muscles as the large leg muscles take over to rock the chair. President Kennedy took this chair on Air Force One and had one in all of his residences.
